bankHometown Hires Cruz as Assistant Vice President Branch Officer in Worcester

bankHometown recently hired Izzy Cruz as assistant vice president, branch officer at its Grove Street branch in Worcester.

Cruz has 18 years of banking experience, including his most recent roles as market manager of Webster Five, market manager of People’s United Bank, and business banking relationship manager at Key Bank.

Cruz has a degree in banking from the Connecticut School of Finance, and currently serves on the Citizens Advocacy Council for district one in the city of Worcester.

A Worcester native, Cruz says he loves everything about the city. “I love the people, the fact that I can access anything I need in this area, and the restaurants are better than Boston!” says Cruz. He and his wife own two businesses in the area, The Trackside Tavern and The Press Box, where they frequently hold fundraising events. Most recently, they held an event to support the New England chapter of Paralyzed Veterans of America. Cruz is passionate about working with small businesses to give them the support they need to thrive in his hometown.
