Notice to Close a Branch

bankHometown, of Oxford, Massachusetts has petitioned the Massachusetts Division of Banks for permission to close a branch office located at 218R Main Street, Webster, Massachusetts 01570.  The proposed date for the closing of this branch office is scheduled for the close of business on Wednesday, October 29, 2025.  Customers of the branch office closing will have their accounts transferred to our full-service branch office located at 4 Gore Road, Webster, Massachusetts 01570.  Any objections or comments relative to this proposal must be communicated in writing to the Commissioner of Banks, Mary L. Gallagher, Division of Banks, One Federal Street, Suite 710, Boston, MA 02110 or dob.comments@mass.gov no later than two weeks from July 28, 2025.  Additionally, comments on the proposed branch closing may be mailed to the Federal Reserve Bank of Boston located at 600 Atlantic Avenue, Boston, MA 02210-2204.  The Federal Reserve Bank does not have the authority to approve or prevent a closing.
